We already have two Westies and wanted a bigger dog, especially after the passing of his dog three years ago. While searching for a new addition, I came across Rick's page (Knightyme Danes) and started looking at the available puppies. We quickly settled on a harlequin puppy and reached out to Rick. Rick responded promptly, informing us that the puppy we chose was on hold until after the holidays. However, he suggested we consider other puppies, even recommending one that he was particularly fond of. We asked if we could see both puppies—the one we had chosen and the one Rick had suggested. Rick arranged a video call where he took us through his kennels, showing us where the dogs were housed. I was very impressed with how clean and spacious the kennels were. It was clear that Rick is not just a breeder but also a true lover of the breed. The level of care he provides for each dog was evident throughout the process. Rick showed us each pup individually, and when he placed them side by side, we realized that we preferred the one he had recommended. We were thrilled and eager to bring our new puppy home. Dusa is now 5 1/2 months knows close to 20 commands and has already alerted several times to my seizures without being task trained for it. I would most definitely recommend Ricks puppies and am pretty sure we’ll be getting a second very soon. I was so impressed with the relationship Rick has with each of his dogs that I got 2 beautiful girls from him, a chocolate fawn and a blue mantle.
